Foals

The foal is a cute little horse that is very playful and cheerful.

Description

Foals can stand,walk, and trot a very short time after birth. Ideally, a foal should be up and nursing within two hours of birth. If the foal takes longer,it may be a good idea to call the vet.Many breeders maintain that filly foals are quicker to get on their feet and nurse than colts.Foals can gallop after about 24 hours.

Habitat

The foal lives in a place with their mother for a phew months and then they go and live by themselves for the rest of their time.The places they live in are stables,paddocks or even just in the back yard.

Diet

The foal's diet is simple it is grass,hay,carrots and apples. The foal also drinks just like horses they drink water but they also drink milk, they start  from when they are born two being a pony.

X country practice

X country practice

3 weeks ago we did x country practice with little oaks so we could show them where they were running and so they could get use to us and also so they don't be scared to come along and do cross country

First we walked down with our buddies, people kept going onto the road and were getting into heaps of trouble from Whaea Sarah and Mr dunn when we arrived at the memorial park we put all our stuff into the GYM because that was where we were putting all our stuff and that is where we were putting our bags having lunch and everything. My buddy was Serenity she was cool.

Then we got ready for the teachers to set up all the rotation games and we had some lollies for the best buddies when we were walking down. We got changed and we got ready to go on our walk.

After that we went out to the starting line and we walked on to the mud and it was SQUISHY it was so sticky and squishy I nearly lost my shoe but that would've been OK because they weren't my good shoes.When we had finished mount doom we had to go around wheae Litisha because that is where the middle of the track is.

Finally we all packed our bags and lined up outside then we walked back to school. By Skyla
